The Phil Chlanda Invitational Light Rifle Competition
Phil, Westside veteran competitor, is a nationally-ranked Long Rifle Expert
3 Relays at Westside Rifle & Pistol Range:
Relay 1: Tuesday, May 4, 7pm
Relay 2: Tuesday, May 11, 7pm
Relay 3: Tuesday, May 18, 7pm
Targets graciously donated by Alco Target
Eligibility:
Invitational, to those range members and tournament alumni willing to assist in running the monthly tournaments for new shooters begining in June.
NRA Light Rifle Competition Rules apply.
Course of fire:
A32 targets, 10 shots per target
3 targets completed per relay
4 targets on final relay May 18
10 targets total needed for NRA Classification
All relays must be shot in .22LR
Invitees may shoot range rifles, or their own 22 rifles
Westside members may shoot range rifles at no rental cost
Scores will be filed with the NRA only once, after final relay
Awards:
A cool rifle trophy, glory & bragging rights
10 completed targets earn the NRA Light Rifle Standing classification
